1942年10月出生于江苏省无锡市。js33333金沙线路检测教授、中国科学院上海植物生理生态研究所研究员。曾任中国植物生理学会理事长、中国细胞生物学会理事长、中国植物学会副理事长、中国生物工程学会副理事长。现任国际植物组织培养和生物技术协会主席、UNESCO人与生物圈中国委员会主席。

毕业后考上上海植物生理研究所研究生,随后即长期在该所工作
